Pischei Olam is a yeshiva high school dedicated to cultivating talmidim who are deeply rooted in Torah, strong in character, and prepared to navigate life with wisdom, emunah, and purpose.

A rigorous, structured limud program anchored in Gemara b'iyun, Halacha, and Mussar. Each bochur learns to think like a ben Torah and develops genuine ahavas haTorah.

A Day in the Yeshiva

Structure is the foundation of growth. Our carefully designed daily schedule maximizes learning time while nurturing the whole bochur — mind, body, and soul.

6:45 AM

Shacharis / שחרית

Morning davening with kavana — the foundation of every day in yeshiva.

8:15 AM

Breakfast & Prep

A nourishing breakfast, followed by time to review notes and prepare for the morning seder.

Morning Seder / סדר בוקר

Chavrusa learning in Gemara b'iyun. Bochurim prepare the sugya before the shiur klali.

10:30 AM

Shiur Klali / שיעור כללי

The Rosh Yeshiva or maggid shiur delivers an in-depth shiur on the masechta, developing analytical skills and depth of understanding.

12:30 PM

Mincha & Lunch

Mincha is davened, followed by a full hot lunch. Time for rest and rejuvenation.

2:00 PM

Afternoon Seder / סדר אחה"צ

Halacha shiurim, Chumash with mefarshim, and supplementary limudim including Mussar and Machshava.

4:30 PM

Activity & Exercise Break

Structured time for sports, outdoor activities, and healthy social interaction — an essential part of yeshiva life.

6:00 PM

Maariv / מעריב

Evening davening, followed by dinner and free time in the dorm.

8:00 PM

Night Seder / סדר לילה

The yeshiva comes alive again for night seder — chavrusa learning, review, and independent study. The heartbeat of the yeshiva.

10:30 PM

Mussar Seder & Lights Out

A brief Mussar seder closes the day with reflection and personal growth. Lights out at 11:00 PM.

Rosh Yeshiva

Harav Fruchtandler learned in Yeshiva Chaim Berlin in Brooklyn, NY, where he developed the depth of lomdus and warmth of character that define his leadership. He founded Pischei Olam with the vision of creating a yeshiva where every bochur can reach his full potential. His shiurim combine razor-sharp analysis with warmth and depth of feeling that inspire talmidim for decades.

Mashgiach Ruchani

Rabbi Kurtsman learned in Yeshiva Chaim Berlin in Brooklyn, NY, where he cultivated his deep commitment to mussar and avodas Hashem. With his warm heart, open door, and genuine care for every bochur, he helps each talmid navigate the challenges of adolescence while building a lasting relationship with Hashem.

Harav Binyamin Zev Horowitz

Maggid Shiur, 11th & 12th Grade

A graduate of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, Rav Horowitz brings energy, clarity, and intellectual rigor to his shiurim. His ability to make complex sugyos accessible and exciting has made him a beloved figure among the bochurim of Pischei Olam.
