About Pischei Olam

Rooted in tradition, guided by vision, dedicated to every talmid

A Yeshiva Born from a Vision

Yeshivas Pischei Olam was founded by Harav Moshe Fruchtandler, a talmid of Yeshiva Chaim Berlin in Brooklyn, NY, who saw a need for a yeshiva high school that combined the highest standards of Torah learning with a genuinely warm and nurturing environment for today's bochur.

The name Pischei Olam — "Portals of the World" — reflects our founding philosophy: that a true Torah education opens every door in life. A bochur who is grounded in Torah, refined in character, and confident in his identity can face any challenge the world presents.

What began as a small yeshiva of 24 bochurim in a modest building has grown, with Hashem's help, into a thriving institution of over 120 talmidim, with a dedicated faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and an alumni network spanning yeshivos and communities across the globe.

Mission & Core Values

Our mission is to cultivate talmidim who are genuine bnei Torah — young men who love learning, live with integrity, and grow continuously throughout their lives.

Our Mission Statement

Yeshivas Pischei Olam is committed to providing each talmid with a transformative Torah education that develops his intellectual capabilities, refines his character (middos), strengthens his emunah, and prepares him for a life of Torah and meaningful contribution to Klal Yisrael. We pursue this mission through rigorous learning, genuine personal attention, and a warm communal environment where every bochur is seen, valued, and challenged to grow.

Torah L'Shma — Torah for Its Own Sake

We cultivate a genuine love of learning, not merely academic achievement. Bochurim learn to value Torah as the breath of their soul and the joy of their lives, not merely as a curriculum to complete.

Kavod HaBriyos — Dignity of Every Person

Every talmid is created b'tzelem Elokim and treated with unwavering respect and dignity. We cultivate an environment free of bullying, exclusion, and negativity — one where every bochur can flourish.

Avodas Hashem — Authentic Divine Service

Davening, Mussar, and Shabbos observance are not obligations to endure but opportunities to cultivate. We help bochurim develop an authentic, personal relationship with Hashem that will sustain them throughout life.

Achdus — Unity and Brotherhood

Our yeshiva community is a genuine family. We foster deep bonds between talmidim that transcend the years they spend in our walls and become the foundation of a lifelong kehilla.

Emes — Truth and Integrity

We hold honesty and intellectual integrity as non-negotiable. In learning, in personal conduct, and in relationships, we train bochurim to pursue and live by truth in all areas of life.

Tzmicha — Continuous Growth

We believe that every person has unlimited capacity for growth, and we create the conditions — challenging learning, personal mentoring, and reflective Mussar practice — for that growth to unfold day by day.

Leadership & Faculty

Our faculty are not simply educators — they are role models, mentors, and genuine lovers of Torah who dedicate their lives to our bochurim.
